Deer Park ISD Chooses Spectrum to Construct Video Scoreboard

January 2006 - Spectrum Corporation has been selected to construct a new custom-designed scoreboard which includes a large Philips Video Screen and a new sound system for Deer Park Independent School District's Clyde Abshier Stadium.

Deer Park Independent School District wanted "nothing but the best" when they decided to renovate the existing Clyde Absheir Stadium.  " We are very excied about the Spectrum Scoreboard with the Philips Video Screen. We were able to visit several locations to view existing video boards and the picture clarity and color consistency of the Philips Video Screen was outstanding,"said Jerry Creel, Athletic Director, Deer Park ISD.

The recent partnership between Spectrum and Philips, on video projects, allows Spectrum to bring a whole new level of image quality into the High School and College market segments. The strength of Philips engineering is evident. By using several patented technologies, Philips is able to greatly improve the image quality and smoothness of color over anything currently installed in the Texas High School Market.

Deer Park's custom scoreboard not only features a Philips Video Screen, but will include a state-of-the-art sound system from Meyer Sound.  Spectrum will also include a combination of its Pro-Style LED digits and Ultra-Bold digits. Most scorebaord information will be displayed in amber, with the clock displayed in red, for improved "quick readability".

The target installation date is in late March 2006. If you would like information on a new Spectrum Scoreboard, contact Spectrum at 1-800-392-5050.
